Environmental Health and Saftey

CES member companies are dedicated to being world-class in environmental protection, human health and safety. The management of every CES company is responsible for achieving this mission as an integral part of its duties.

CES member companies and their employees will:

  1. Take all appropriate action to ensure the safety of employees, customers, users of CES member company’s products and services, and others affected by them.
  2. Eliminate or minimize environmental pollution from the conduct of CES member company’s operations.
  3. Reduce the creation of waste, and dispose of such waste safely and responsibly.
  4. Reduce the consumption of natural resources and energy.
  5. Work to continuously educate and motivate all employees to conduct their activities in an environmentally responsible and safe manner.
  6. Assess the environmental implication of new products and processes prior to incorporating them into our business operations.
  7. Endorse an atmosphere of continuous improvement in regards to protection of our environment and the safety of all stakeholders in our daily activities.
Environmental Health & Safety Manual

As per the requirements of state, federal, and local regulations, this environmental health & safety manual has been developed in order to serve as a tool for our members in an attempt to translate the legal language of regulations into an everyday language that can be more easily understood and applied toward facility operation.
